Hydrographic Survey of Portsmouth Commercial Fish Pier Approach and Surrounding Area
At the request of the New Hampshire State Port Authority (NHSPA) Substructure conducted a high resolution multibeam bathymetric survey of the Commercial Fish Pier. The survey was in preparation for the New Hampshire Tall Ship Festival over the Memorial Day weekend. Substructure gladly donated their services in order to help NHSPA and Piscataqua Maritime Commission (PMC) brings these historic ships to Portsmouth. The survey was conducted to International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Special Order standard. This highest accuracy survey standard is utilized where critical under keel clearances necessitate the accuracy. Substructure employed their state of the art vessel Orion for this survey. Substructure is proud to provide this survey data to assist in the maritime activities of the celebration. Substructure is happy to support this festival, along with the other sponsors and volunteers who bring the positive nature of such an event to the City of Portsmouth.
